Welcome To Ripley Rhinos Rugby Club
Rhinos are a friendly, family rugby union club started in 1996 and who are playing their thirteenth season of rugby. We currently run three sides - a Men's 1st XV & 2nd XV and a Women's 1st XV. Last season (2007-2008) the men played in the NLD Pennant league, and in the NLD Vase competition. The Women played in National Challenge 2 East Midlands last campaign playing some quality rugby. This year, the women are moved into National Challenge North Midlands / Yorkshire and celebrate their eleventh season of existence.
Rhino's rugby training for both men and women has now changed to 6.45pm on Tuesdays on the grass pitch of Mill Hill School behind (and getting access from) the Beehive pub car park - all new players are welcome - the majority of our players had not played rugby before they joined us and beginners are always warmly welcomed.
